‘Symphony No. 9’ to hit global screens

Iranian feature ‘Symphony No. 9’ is in the preliminary phases of beginning its international screenings.

The filmmakers plan on screening the film in Europe, Canada, and the United States, according to producer Zaynab Taqvaee.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, ‘Symphony No. 9’ tells the story of a surgeon named Rahil who in order to fulfill his wife’s only wish, meets up with a shady man who changes his destiny forever.

Notable among the cast are household names such as Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Pejman Bazeghi, Mehrdad Seddiqian, Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Sareh Bayat, Hamid Farrokhnejad, and Hoda Zeinolabedin.

The drama premiered at the 37th edition of the Fajr Film Festival last February.

Honarmand is known for his films ‘The Wrong Guy’, ‘Dear, I’m in no Mood’, ‘Mummy 3’, and television series ‘The Chef’.
